The price paid at a ‘Mantiques’ auction for the original micro mini dress and tennis racket from the world famous 1977 poster, The Tennis Girl. Reaching more than 7 times the high estimate, a 1979 edition of the often imitated poster was included in the curious lot. The buyer remains anonymous.

A Puppet's Ramblings - from Chip Martin, Mannequin American Marketer

Sometimes it's hard for me, a simple Mannequin American, to decipher whether a print ad is sexist or humorous, offensive or effective. Below are three examples that I'll leave to you to categorize.

JOB Cigarette Papers

Okay, the ad above is pretty easy to categorize. But how about the one below?

Oreo Cookies

And finally ...

We All Have Our Individual “Getting Ready” Routines … and They’re Hilarious

Okay, I seldom include a video that runs 3 minutes … but this new video for Dollar Shave Club is really funny and actually includes shots of the CEO of the company.  Hang in there and I guarantee that you’ll either lol or go “Ewwwwww, that’s gross!”

We all have a "getting ready" routine. The video shows a number of men (and women) going about their own getting ready routines. Pretty hilarious.
