Chip Shot: Whenever I start to feel spontaneous, my bank account reminds me to calm the f$#k down.

Another Hilarious Ad from Bonds Underwear

You remember these two fellows from the hilarious Bonds underwear ad that I posted a couple of weeks ago? It featured the anthropomorphized testicles who suffer all manner of abuse down under, until they are comfortably cocooned by a proper-fitting pair of briefs.

Well, here is the second ad in the series and we find out that one of the balls is named Dennis!

Bye Bye Boob Sweat with Goodwipes.com

Here’s a low-budget, occasionally funny and cringe-inducing ad for Goodwipes, a brand of body wipes that likes to talk dirty while cleaning you up.

Actress and comedian Lace Larrabee stars in the two-minute clip, which calls on her to wipe away boob sweat while delivering a bracing monologue about the power of Goodwipes to redeem your smelly, sweaty self.

Thinx Ads Banned

Thinx, a company that aims to "eliminate shame" surrounding periods, proposed an ad campaign to promote its "underwear for women with periods." According to Thinx's CEO and co-founder, Miki Agrawal, the ads have not been approved for placement in the New York City subway by Outfront Media, a company responsible for reviewing some of the advertising for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). Below are a couple of examples. What do you "Thinx?"

“Up” in Real Life

I must be getting old because this video of an 80-year-old couple playing Carl and Ellie's theme from "UP" together on the piano struck a “cord” with me.

Why Can't All Ads Be This Good?

Chip Shot: If a guy says you’re ugly, he’s a mean bastard. If a woman says you’re ugly she’s a bitch. If a child says you’re ugly, then you’re ugly.

A Good Ad is a Good Ad

Okay here is a good ad and here is another good ad. Two different products and neither ad is hilarious. But both are “good ads” that educate and sell. I wish more advertising were this good.

Home App Ping Pong

Homelive Orange is a French app that controls all the connected appliances in your home. This ad is in French, but it’s still pretty funny, even without subtitles.

L to R above: Gigi, Jay Hurwitz and Jay Johnson. Gigi was created by Rene, who also created Jay’s “Bob,” for the TV sitcom, Soap.

I took this photo at the 2014 Ventriloquists’ Convention. Gigi is special for Dale and me because her original owner was Hank Sieman, a ventriloquist who lived in Waukesha, WI. Hank literally entertained around world during the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s. Although we never met Hank, we did know his wonderful wife, Dorothy. We even entertained at her 90th birthday party. Dorothy shared countless stories about her travels with Hank and was always a delight to be around. We miss her.

Crazy ex-girlfriends are like a box of chocolate. They will kill your dog

Not All Signs Are Obvious

In this funny ad for Volkswagen’s “Sign Assist” whatever that is, the husband learns what’s been going on for the past 12 years.

Funny Ad for Cement from India

This is an ad for Ambuja Cement, from India. The ad is entertaining, but there is one specific moment that made everyone in our office LOL. You’ll find it.
