Chip Shot: Life was so much simpler when we could just play a friendly game of Red Rover and clothesline the people we didn’t like.

Take Your Place Around the Table

According to IKEA 79% of important decisions are made around a table. So the company created ads like this one, based on “Take Your Place Around the Table.”  Each ad begins with unexplained circumstances, like one where a woman walks around in a nudist colony, bewildered and hiding her genitals behind a handbag. The ads end with what precluded each situation … people sitting around a table saying things like, "Hey, what if we joined a nudist colony?"

Chip Shot:
I don’t even care what is in the other aisles.

“Do You Like the Smell of Chest Hair?”

Here’s a really funny commercial for Sizzl, Oscar Mayer’s new dating app for people who love bacon.

Funny Scion Ad Features “Tube Man”

This just made me giggle. You know those inflatable “tube guys” that flop around in front of car dealerships? Well, one of them is driving a new Scion.

Gin Made from Unicorn Tears

Now you can imbibe yourself on the tears of a truly majestic mythical creature! That’s right, Firebox is selling this Unicorn Tears Gin Liqueur for $62 a bottle. No word on whether or not the tears involved are happy or sad, but my guess is, you’ll find out after drinking half a bottle.

“Refreshing Laxative”? I guess in the 60’s you could “keep cool and refreshed through Inner cleanliness.”

 Kermit Get Ambushed

Muppet power couple Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog power lunch among the Hollywood elite in this new Emmy-themed film from Audi.

The former duo powow at a fancy eatery ahead of the 67th annual Emmys on Sunday night and their return to primetime next Tuesday.

Miss Piggy, however, steps away to go all diva over Modern Family's Julie Bowen, who sends over a bottle of champagne, chat with How to Get Away With Murder lead Viola Davis and take a paparazzi shot with Kermie that no doubt will spark reunion suspicions of gossipy fans and jealousy of the frog's new gal Denise (or "Dennis," as Miss Piggy calls her).

After the whirwhind meeting, Kermit comes away blindsided, reciting his famous phrase "It's not that easy being green," only to be challenged by Joel McHale. "It is now," he says.

Outtakes at the end make it worthwhile to watch all 4 minuts.

Chip Shot: You can get a free cup of coffee at Starbucks if it’s your birthday and you have a gun.

KFC Lie Detector

This KFC ad pokes fun of the fact that it doesn’t really matter who plays Colonel Sanders … the food is still good.

Online Game Developer Defends Itself with Humor

In this weird ad, a mother worries that her son is infatuated with the gaming universe, and as a result is unable to get a girlfriend. The narrator questions if that is because the mother is not willing to let go of her son … including breast-feeding him until he was eight.

In this second ad a miserable father sticks to playing his online games instead of interacting with his daughter, after she continually puts makeup on him and dresses him up in ballet dresses.

Your Child is What You Eat …

The copy on this ad says, “Your habits in the first thousand days of gestation can prevent your child from developing serious diseases.” Learn more at SPRS.COM.BR.

Chip Shot: Signs that say “No Alcohol Beyond this Point” may as well say, “Bet you can’t chug that whole beer.”

Who is This Ad Aimed At?

This is a guess, but I think most lipstick is purchased by women. So I'm not sure who this Yves Saint Laurent ad is aimed at. All I know is that I feel like going out and buying some lipstick.
