Our Business is to Make His Business Smell Like it Never Happened

PooPourri.com is out with another ad about saving relationships by using PooPourri.

Help for Men Facing PMS

Here’s a pretty funny ad about an app that supposedly will help men face the premenstrual syndrome of women ... this won’t end well.

While We're On the Subject, Here's a Vintage Ad That Will Have You Scratching Your Head

Anti Bullying Ad is Funny and Effective

Here’s a great example of how to use humor to tackle a serious subject.

VH1 targets all the bullies in the world with this hilarious ad. The 60-second musical stars a bunch of school-age misfits and geeks being tortured and brutalized by their mean-spirited peers. But in the long-run, the victims know that they’ll be able to turn the tables dramatically when they become successful and “the boss.”

Average is Average

Okay this ad for GNC has moments that made me lol. It’s another of those ads that’s funny because it’s true.

Please Don’t Sexualize the Bunny

There are very serious animal abuses going on in the world. This is not one of them.

The cheesy little ad above, with the headline, "This year, Easter is full of surprises," appeared in Switzerland to promote a shopping mall. Apparently the ad has drawn the ire of a local animal welfare group, Der Tierschutz beider Basel (Animal Welfare Basel) also known as TBB.

"We see the dignity of this rabbit clearly violated. This image promotes zoophilia, ranging from sexual attraction to the sexual abuse of animals,” a spokesperson said.

I don’t know what constitutes the over-sexualization of animals, but I’m pretty sure this ad doesn’t cross the line.

Oh No! They’re Using Sex to Sell!

Dutch company SuitSupply has drawn the ire of women’s groups which call the company’s marketing campaign, “sexist.”

I agree the website and ads are sexist … but I’m not going to complain about it.

Princess Tossing

Until recently it was custom in the Netherlands to celebrate the Queen’s birthday. From 1890 to 2013, the day was known as Koninginnedag or Queen's Day and celebrated on April 30th.  The prominent opportunity for “orange madness”, the day the sober Dutch let down their hair and dye themselves orange. Flea-markets, happiness, music and games on the street are traditionally part of this madness.

This year marks the first Kingsday ever with the crowning of a new Dutch King: Willem-Alexander. The new Kingsday, April 26, 2014, requires new rituals and in the tradition of the Dutch: innovative games. And since they owe it to their name, Kingsday in Amsterdam launches: Princess Tossing. Participation is free for amateurs and professionals alike.

The rules are simple. Every participant can toss 3 princesses in one turn. The more princesses hit bulls-eye, the higher the score. After every toss one must wait 3 seconds. Professionals may take their coach with them, but betting is strictly prohibited.

Seth Rogen’s Hilarious Movie Promotion Includes Aaron Rogers

Seth Rogen puts his foot in his mouth in this very funny  ESPN commercial promoting his upcoming movie Neighbors with Zac Efron.

Rogen embarrassingly recognizes Aaron Rodgers as “the State Farm guy” instead of as one of the top players in the NFL. When Efron tries to correct his error, it only gets worse. “Wait, you went from being a guy in commercials to being a quarterback?! That’s incredible!”

This is What Your Brain Looks Like on “Princess”

GoldieBlox, the girls' engineering toy company launched this video for Easter. The film uses an egg to illustrate what girls' brains are like on "princess" versus what they're like on something a little more educational, like engineering -- and GoldieBlox.

The film shows the amazing contraptions that can be built using the construction set, like a mini ferris wheel, ramp and conveyor belt, complete with fun instructional videos showing how kids can create their own. Throughout the film, created by an all-woman team, it reveals startling facts about girls' development in our society--such as the fact that girls lose confidence in math and science starting as early as age 7, female engineers earn more than 33% more than women in other professions and only 13% of engineers are women.

It’s Better to Travel in Groups

Here’s a series of 4, 30 second, very funny commercials promoting the advantages of taking the bus. I don’t know where the ads were produced, but they work.

Vintage Ads

Here’s an idea … let’s ruin your kid’s birthday party by forcing him and all of his friends to eat prunes!

The brand may have changed, but the sentiment has not. If ever there was a time to get hammered, it’s April during tax time.

Childrens' Book Beats Out Fifty Shades of Grey as Most Pornographic

Captain Underpants Beats Out Fifty Shades of Grey as Most “Challenged” Book of 2013

The erotic romance book Fifty Shades of Grey is infamous for its scenes involving bondage, sadism and masochism, but the most troublesome literary content in 2013 was language like pee-pee, poopy, wedgie and Dr. Diaper.

The American Library Association revealed its top five most challenged books of 2013 and, somewhat surprisingly, lines like "suck me, baby" and "my inner goddess is doing the meringue with some salsa moves" weren't enough to nab "mommy porn" staple Fifty Shades of Grey the #1 spot.

Instead, that book is languishing down at #4, while kids' graphic novel The Adventures of Captain Underpants holds #1 for the second year in a row … because it says "pee-pee" and "wedgie" in it.

Here's the Hollywood Reporter:

The graphic novel, geared for children in the 7- to 10-years-old range and written and illustrated by Dav Pilkey, features two fourth-graders who create a comic book about their imagined superhero — who prefers not to wear pants. The book promises "action, thrills and laffs," but it was called into question due to its supposed offensive language, violence and unsuitability for its target age group.

The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison and The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indianby Sherman Alexie held the second and third spots, respectively, for the sins of offensive language, sexual explicitness and drugs.

Rounding out the list were Fifty Shades, which held steady in fourth place, beatingJohn Green's Looking for Alaska; Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games (for its alleged religious viewpoint); and Stephen Chbosky's The Perks of Being a Wallflower, back on the list after four years. Jeff Smith's classic cartoon-style graphic novel seriesBone held the 10th spot for its violence and alledged racism.

Take Your Poo to the Loo

This is NSFW because the song doesn't use the word "Poo." It uses the word most of us use to describe Poo.

Apparently a lot of people in India (and I mean “a lot”) take poops in public … on the streets. And it’s a real problem.

In an attempt to get people in India not to leave their *** just lying around - literally - the U.N. has hit upon a novel solution - an anthropomorphic cartoon turd. Mr. Poo is a villain, as seen in the online game where you have to flush his turd minions away.

Now, if I were to ask you, "Seeing as how this is a campaign intended for an Indian audience, what do you imagine would be the most stereotypical thing they could do to market themselves?" and you said, "Why, a music video full of singing and dancing bowel movements and a disco toilet, of course!" You'd be right on the money.

You wanna see it? Of course you do. It's actually catchy as hell. Click here. Again (NSFW).

Have Your Seen This Pooper?

Ypsilanti, Michigan has erected billboards encouraging its citizens to be on the lookout for the Ypsilani Pooper.

For the past six months, someone has been pooping on the Prospect Park playground in Ypsilanti, Michigan. It should be noted that Ypsilanti is the home of Eastern Michigan University, where there are 20,000+ college kids. I’m just saying that if I lived in a college town and was looking for someone responsible for random acts of defecation, I think I’d start on campus.
